Our mission at The Modern Tot Preschool is to cultivate the inner wonder of each child.

Key Development Indicators
We do this by centering our curriculum and activities around Key Developmental Indicators (KDIs) of early learning. KDIs are active behaviors that reflect concepts & skills that children naturally use as they interact with materials, people, ideas, and events.
HighScope
We use the HighScope approach that has researched and field tested for over 50 years, focusing on open-ended learning opportunities where environment and communication about subject matter plays a vital role in development.
